I’m back with a small haul. I bought a few things over the past couple of weeks and I am really excited about some of my purchases. I was at Ulta the other day and I walked past the small display a few times and I finally stopped to look and I saw this:
I cannot wait for this movie to come out and I was even more excited to see this palette by NYX. I have already tested out a few of the products. I will start with the eye shadows. There a few semi-matte shades, a few glitter infused shadows and everything else in between. I haven’t used all of the shadows but I found they are decently pigmented but very powdery and I notice more fall out than I do with my MAC shadows. I will wear them all because I find all of them to be very wearable.
The second half of the palettes includes 5 blushes. Two of them seem semi-matte and the other three have glitter sheen to them. All of them are gorgeous blushes and if used with a light hand are very wearable. (The Dark Shadows trailer just came on and I love Johnny Depp). The palette also includes a highlighter shade which isn’t very pigmented but very pretty on the skin. There is also a small eye shadow primer and a small sample of liquid eyeliner. The primer reminds me a lot of the UD eye shadow primer potion and the eyeliner is pretty average. The last products in the palette are 4 lip shades. I hate lip shades mixed with face/eye products. All the shades are nice but you cannot take them with you on the go. Overall, I really like this product and I cannot wait to try more looks with it!
I also picked a new nail color from China Glaze and I am so excited about this color because it is name after my favorite actress. Any guesses?...Audrey Hepburn. The color is called For Audrey and it is the Tiffany box color you see in the stores. It is gorgeous color and looks even better when I put the Essie color Pearlperfection over it. I have a picture below.
Thanks for reading and I will back soon!
